When I go sketching in our local farmers market I often record overheard bits of dialogue and conversations between stallholders. Here are a few examples:
"I can never walk passed your stall without breaking into a twenty pound note!"
"If it's too runny just pop it in the fridge."
"I usually do a batch of extra strong but I've sold out and they need six weeks to settle and mature nicely."
"Do you like olives?"
"I love olives - especially big olives!"
"That's an unusual plant."
"The thought of it's nice but where would we put it?"
"It would go with the cottage because it's got that cottagy feel."
