I thought this would make a good image for a "Good Luck in Your Exams" card and it has proved very popular.
The candidates are in the school gym, hence the green lino floor. Many of them look as if they're struggling with the exam or have finished early.
It has been pointed out that the girls in the picture seem to be doing most of the work while the boys are day dreaming. If so, I'll have to correct this next time I paint such a scene...
