The couple in the back row were added after a visitor who saw this painting at an exhibition pointed out that you really can’t have people in a cinema without at least one pair of snoggers. They even went so far as to suggest I paint the snogging at a far more advanced stage involving some nudity but the line has to be drawn somewhere. After all these pictures are meant for family viewing.
